The Central library is hosting another Anime Film day! As with the last one, the Library’s licensing deal with film companies does not allow me to post the films names on the net.

It’s on Saturday April 21st, and it starts at 9:30AM.
You should leave early enough if you want good seats.

The Schedule:

9:30AM- First Movie ( 2001, PG )
“In the middle of her family’s move to the suburbs, a sullen 10-year-old girl wanders into a world ruled by witches and monsters, where humans are changed into animals

12:30PM -Second Movie ( 2001, G )
“Genya Tachibana, a TV interviewer, tracks down an old movie studio’s most famous star, Chiyoko Fujiwara, who is now a recluse. Tachibana delivers a key to Fujiwara which causes her to refect on her career. The key was given to her as teenager by a painter and revolutionary that she helped escape from the police. She became an actress because it made it possilbe to track him down and she spent the next sevral decades acting out that search in various genres and eras.”

2:30PM – Third Movie ( 1989, 14A) *You must be accompanied by an adult if under 14.
“A group of motorcycle-riding teenagers living in post-apocalyptic. to Neo Tokyo tries to stop one of the gang members who has run amok after becoming empowered with telekinetic powers in a government experiment. Based on a manga.”
The last Anime Film day was great and there is plans for a third film day later on this year.
